Our client is an established international PR agency hiring for their up-and-coming NYC office. The Sr. Account Executive is an instrumental role critical to their success. The role will be split between working on the founding client in the luxury travel arena which delivers their PR and social comms on a global basis, working with agencies in markets around the world. The other part of the role will be to help pitch and win new clients, where you’ll be involved in the whole new biz process, from research and idea generation to helping put together pitch docs and presenting their campaign recommendations.

The successful candidate will be:
● A practitioner with a minimum of two years agency experience, with a consumer PR background –
ideally with experience of working in travel, lifestyle, and/or luxury sectors
● A strong collaborative team player who leads by example and sets best practice standards
for delivery across accounts
● Driven, hardworking, enthusiastic, and able to turn your hand to anything – you’ll be hungry and
ambitious for yourself, the agency, and for your clients, a self-starter who is always on the lookout for
opportunities. You’ll be a trusted pair of hands, be able to work up and down and be confident and
able enough to be self-sufficient in tasks (while being supported by a wider team)
● A media hound! – Broad understanding of media and what makes a story. Be confident in selling-in to
journalists and come with some great contacts. You’ll be able to get involved in everything from news
generation, picture stories, working with celebrity ambassadors, handling issues; crisis (supported
by seniors)
● Understand the social and digital landscape – what kind of content works socially and digitally and
how to exploit the different social channels for your clients
● A creative thinker that’s culturally savvy- able to come up with impactful campaign themes and tactics
that populate culture
● Be able to build strong relationships – with clients and people at all levels across the agency.
● Excellent account management – ensuring campaign milestones are met on time, monthly client
updates and weekly reporting is prepared and delivered to best practice standards
● Confident presentation skills – able to present ideas at client meetings as well as selling the benefits
of ideas in client proposals
