Role Overview:

The Chief Marketing and Communications Officer will be responsible for enhancing the visibility and impact of the organization’s brand. This role involves crafting and executing integrated marketing communications strategies and campaigns, translating organizational priorities to a wide range of audiences, and fostering community connections.


  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support financial and mission-critical goals, advancing the organization’s brand.
  • Lead integrated communications strategy development and execution, aligned with the organization's strategic priorities.
  • Drive outreach strategies for brand management, enhancing presence across media, public platforms, and stakeholder groups.
  • Implement cross-organization collaboration processes, leveraging diverse skills to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Develop relationships with media, educational institutions, non-profits, corporations, and influencers to elevate the organization's mission and vision.
  • Tailor complex concepts into accessible communications materials, serving as a strategic translator for broader audiences.
  • Set and achieve marketing goals and objectives, including brand awareness and revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team, fostering an environment conducive to personal and professional growth.


  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in communications and marketing.
  • Experience in strategic marketing communications, brand strategy, and integrated marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in brand management, advertising, digital marketing, and consumer research.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and management skills, with an ability to inspire and lead teams.
