Our client is a category-defining wellness brand in high growth phase, part of a global consumer products portfolio. This mission-driven company combines startup agility with enterprise resources, contributing significantly to global water accessibility initiatives.

THE ROLE

This newly created Communications Director position reports to the CMO, leading comprehensive communications strategy across three key areas:

Brand PR (30%): Drive earned media strategy, lead campaign narratives, manage celebrity partnerships and agency relationships.

Internal Communications (30%): Develop and execute internal strategy, creating compelling employee engagement initiatives across multiple channels. Partner closely with People & Culture team on key initiatives.

Corporate Communications/Crisis Management (40%): Lead executive communications and thought leadership while managing crisis protocols and stakeholder relationships. Drive overall corporate positioning and narrative.

TEAM STRUCTURE & ORGANIZATION

The role sits within a dynamic 50-person marketing organization, managing an internal PR team of 2 and overseeing external agency relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of communications experience with proven CPG expertise. Must have track record in:

  • Building communications functions from ground up
  • Managing agencies and internal teams
  • Leading crisis communications
  • Working with disruptive, high-growth brands
