A boutique PR agency in Downtown LA is seeking a PR Coordinator with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. This agency specializes in B2B PR, strategy, branding, and social media for production companies, post-production firms, and creative agencies in the advertising industry.
Responsibilities:
Support the Head of PR across client accounts
Participate in client calls and meetings
Work closely with the copywriter to develop compelling press releases/messaging
Assess draft materials to ensure they meet the client's brief
Follow up with clients, keep projects on track and meet deadlines
Media relations and pitching to both core outlets and new media targets
Continuously expand media contacts and connections
Requirements:
2-5 years of PR experience, preferably in production, post-production, creative agency or ad-tech
Strong understanding of the advertising agency landscape
Media relations experience
Familiarity with advertising/marketing trade publications
Confident yet humble attitude - proactive self-starter who isn't afraid to ask questions
Exceptional organization and project management skills
