Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our client's Bay Area team in a leadership role. This position offers the unique opportunity to serve as the primary point of contact for a major client while working on-site to fully immerse yourself in their company culture, vision, and projects.

Location: Hybrid - San Jose client site (2-4 days/week) + San Francisco office (1-2 days/week)
Minimum: 3 total in-office/onsite days per week
Salary Range: $67,000 - $85,000 (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as sole or primary point of contact with client, working with full autonomy
  • Regularly work on-site representing the firm and delivering strategic communications expertise
  • Serve as client representative to lead tours and give presentations/updates to community groups
  • Develop deep understanding of client projects and daily operations to facilitate communications plan development
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming sessions regarding client direction

Content Development & Communications

  • Partner with clients to develop engaging, innovative content for social media, advertising, videos, websites, fact sheets, and presentations
  • Create and update project files, meeting agendas, and website content
  • Proofread news releases, newsletter articles, media pitches, and other client materials
  • Collaborate with client design teams on production of collateral materials

Event Management & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate public meetings, tours, and events including attendee outreach, mobilization, setup, and cleanup
  • Lead special event coordination, public workshops, and advisory/community committee processes
  • Conduct research, manage vendors, handle committee administration, and provide event documentation
  • Conduct field outreach, canvassing, and stakeholder-facing outreach activities

Analysis & Relationship Building

  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries and track outreach activities
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on outreach, media, social media, and other metrics for project planning and analysis
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client base

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Public Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in public relations or public outreach fields
  • Fluency in Spanish required
