Role Overview

The Senior Director will lead the growing U.S. Hispanic division of our client's PR team, bringing high-level strategy and experience to the organization. This role requires an innovative thinker and disruptor who can guide clients, internal teams, and creative partners toward solutions that result in impactful earned media coverage. Being fully bilingual with the ability to read, write, and translate press materials in English and Spanish is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the U.S. Hispanic PR division, managing team members and client relationships
  • Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns targeting Hispanic audiences
  • Provide thought leadership and expert guidance on Hispanic market trends
  • Foster relationships with Hispanic media outlets, journalists, and influencers
  • Oversee account management, client relations, and team development
  • Manage campaign execution, budgets, and departmental workflows
  • Articulate strong POVs and align stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Identify new business opportunities and participate in pitches
  • Stay current on media landscape changes and adapt strategies accordingly

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of in-house or agency experience in entertainment, tech, product and/or consumer PR
  • Proven focus on the U.S. Hispanic audience with deep understanding of the Latino consumer
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking, and translation)
  • Strong familiarity with prominent Hispanic outlets and journalists
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in team leadership and mentorship
  • Proficiency in delegation, budget oversight, and organizational management
  • Self-motivated with a "can do" strategic mindset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguity
