Paradigm Staffing is conducting a confidential search for a Vice President of Consumer Public Relations on behalf of one of our longtime agency clients.
This senior leader will oversee the one of the agency’s most established and most successful client relationships. The account includes a significant regional footprint and continues to grow, offering the opportunity to lead high-visibility consumer work for one of the world’s most recognized brands.
The Vice President will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the client, lead a dedicated account team and guide integrated communications programs across earned, owned, social and paid channels. This person must be equally comfortable developing strategy, navigating complex stakeholder relationships, mentoring a team and rolling up their sleeves when major client moments demand it.
The role will initially focus heavily on learning and leading the business. Organic growth and broader business development responsibilities will be introduced gradually as the successful candidate becomes established in the account and agency.
What You’ll Be Doing
Serve as the senior strategic lead for the account.
Build trusted relationships with senior client contacts and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Translate differing stakeholder perspectives into a clear, cohesive communications strategy.
Provide candid, thoughtful counsel and confidently challenge the client when doing so will lead to stronger work.
Guide multidisciplinary teams in developing and executing data-informed, integrated consumer communications programs.
Lead campaigns across earned media, social media, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing and paid opportunities.
Ensure programs are connected to measurable communications and business outcomes.
Oversee account planning, budgets, staffing, performance and overall client satisfaction.
Lead and mentor a team of consumer communications professionals.
Establish clear performance expectations and support the professional growth of individual team members.
Collaborate with specialists and agency partners across a broader global network.
Identify organic growth and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client relationship.
Participate in pitches, industry events and broader business development initiatives as the role evolves.
Represent the agency at client conferences, campaign launches and other major brand moments.
Contribute to agency-wide initiatives, training, culture and thought leadership.

This is an opportunity to take a leadership position on a major, long-standing account rather than stepping into a newly won piece of business. The agency has earned significant trust from the client, and the account’s geographic scope and responsibilities continue to expand.
The successful candidate will also join a collaborative, people-first agency that combines the resources of a large international communications network with the entrepreneurial culture of a smaller organization.
