Our client is a leading strategic communications and consulting firm specializing in food, nutrition, and public health. Our team works at the intersection of science, policy, and communications to drive meaningful change in the food and nutrition landscape.

Position Overview: We're seeking a Vice President to provide strategic leadership across our portfolio of food, beverage, and nutrition clients. This role will oversee multiple account teams, drive business growth, and translate complex scientific and policy matters into actionable communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic direction for major accounts spanning CPG, agricultural commodities, and industry associations
  • Develop and execute multi-year communications programs targeting health professionals, consumers, and policy stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry thought leaders and organizations
  • Guide teams in navigating regulatory developments and policy changes
  • Drive business development and organic growth opportunities
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to agency culture and thought leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in nutrition, public health, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in food and nutrition communications
  • Proven track record managing large client relationships and teams
  • Deep understanding of food systems, sustainability, and regulatory landscape
  • Strong background in translating technical science into strategic communications
  • Experience with business development and program growth
  • Agency or consulting experience preferred
  • Registered Dietitian credential a plus
