Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Drive strategic direction for assigned client portfolio of 4-6 major technology accounts
Spearhead new business development initiatives and client expansion opportunities
Contribute to agency-wide growth planning and innovation strategies
Serve as primary client contact and trusted advisor for key accounts
Team Management & Development
Lead and mentor a team of 5 communications professionals
Foster professional growth through coaching and strategic guidance
Build collaborative team environment focused on results and innovation
Manage workflow and resource allocation across multiple accounts
Client Excellence
Oversee integrated communications strategies across SaaS, AI, IoT, and emerging technology sectors
Ensure exceptional campaign execution and measurable results delivery
Maintain strong client relationships through strategic counsel and proactive communication
Lead crisis communications and issues management when needed
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
Participate in new business presentations and proposal development
Leverage industry relationships to drive agency growth
Support thought leadership and agency visibility initiatives
Required Qualifications
8+ years of public relations experience with demonstrated technology sector expertise
Proven track record in agency leadership roles with team management experience
Strong business development background with new business wins
Exceptional writing and communications skills across all PR disciplines
Deep understanding of technology trends, particularly AI and emerging innovations
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
Based in New York area with ability to commute to office twice weekly
